This term we have been learning all about the Victorians! In order to find out how the Victorians used to live we took a trip to the Higgins Museum in Bedford where we travelled back in time!
Last week Year 5 designed and made parachutes to test which fabric made the best one. We also investigated the different forces, which were: air resistance, gravity and friction.
In English this term we have been writing accident reports about the Tay Bridge disaster of 1879. We had a day to plan it, which involved deciding what each paragraph would describe.
On Tuesday, Year 5 had their fabulous finish for their amazing ancient Egypt topic. The children had lots of things to do including: a confusing quiz; an excellent dance and a marvellous mummification challenge.
