HEDGEHOGS!

This half term we have been reading non fiction text about animals that live in the woods. Last week was about hedgehogs! We learned lots of amazing facts about these cute little creatures. We even found out that they can swim!

Many children produced a piece of hedgehog art. The children at school used clay to sculpt a hedgehog out of. During show and tell online, Ava told us, "I used the fork to make it's spines!" Some children at home made salt dough or playdough hedgehogs. We saw a many different ideas to represent the hedgehog's spines including cocktail sticks, small twigs from the garden and pasta!

Many children enjoyed drawing pictures of hedgehogs and some made hedgehogs out of a paper plate.
