WHAT A BUSY YEAR WE HAVE HAD!
We cannot believe it is nearly the summer holidays and we are nearly at the end of our Year 2 journey!
In September we started our weekly swimming lessons which have been so much fun- we have learnt new skills including survival skills and we are much more confident swimmers!
We really enjoyed our trips this year, starting with Pizza and ice-cream at Santainello for our Italian cuisine! We also enjoyed making slime and bubbles on our trip to STEM. Outdoor learning has also been great fun this year we have enjoyed making s'mores (mmm it was delicious), chalking, growing cress, making bird feeders, building dens and free play!
We also have had the pleasure to meet some lovely visitors who have been into school, including our mystery readers! We have done lots of learning this year too and we especially enjoyed making our bunting and fruit salads in DT. This year we have also had the opportunities to get involved with lots of sports including our SSCO trips and a session led by professional athletes; Victoria Ohuruogu and James Arnott!
