ANCIENT EGYPTIANS, ENGLISH AND MATHS!

In Year 3 we have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians and how they mummified the dead. We really enjoyed exploring artefacts from Ancient Egypt.

In English we are learning about the incredible Titanic that sunk on its’ maiden voyage through or novel – Kaspar Prince of Cats. We know that without any people on board it still weighed 24,000 tonnes!

In maths we have just finished our fraction unit where we have ordered and compared fractions. We have discovered that the smaller the denominator the bigger the amount and that Mrs Hubbard prefers 12 a cake to 18 of a cake.

If you would like to learn more about the Titanic here is a really good link https://www.natgeokids.com/uk/discover/history/general-history/would-you-have-survived-the-titanic/
