Just as we were about to remove the old and unused bird box from the environmental area to replace with one of our new bat boxes we noticed, to our amazement that is being used by a family of birds.  Mrs Taylor commented that she has been waiting for years for birds to nest and they decided to wait until her last full week in school before retiring to start.

After a few years of absence the frogs have returned to the pond.  On Tuesday 29th April we took this video of the frogs as they laying their spawn.
