Music is a language and in Ks2 we are looking at steps, pitch, leaps, intervals, notation and repeated patterns.  We have been listening to music and trying to play it back on the tuned percussion by ear which we discoved was quite tricky!

A very interesting word we have learnt is ostinato which means a repeated pattern within the music and we have been picking these out in music we have been listening to.

We are really looking forward to getting out the instuments this term and creating our own music to perform in class!
