Safety Week

Written by
This week is Safety Week and we have been writing poems  about fireworks, including how to keep safe.   We wrote 2 different types of poems…an acrostic and a list poem. In our acrostic poem the first letter of each line spelled FIREWORKS. In our list poem we described the sounds, the colours, the names of the fireworks the smells and safety tips. Mr Thomas let Holly sing her list poem… she was fabulous!   Today we are going to make the wire frame to go inside our modroc chair. We had to plan our chairs for  a cartoon character, animal or a person and we decided what chair would suit them. Bending the wire was tricky  but it will make a stable, strong frame for our modroc next week.  Have a safe and happy bonfire night.
