This week we had a special visit by Science teachers at Redborne Upper School. They helped us to design and make our own paper rockets. All the year 3 children met in the field at the end of the workshop and we launched our rockets - they really flew! It was a fun way to learn about forces, rocket design and aerodynamics. Luckily we had beautiful, sunny weather for this exciting event!
In Literacy, we are learning to write a clear and concise set of instructions. We have written our own set of instructions for making a 'marble run painting'. Next week we will make and film an instructional video in teams to teach others how to make this type of art.
Families are cordially invited to attend a Learning Celebration on Monday July 9th at 2 p.m. in our classroom to share the children's learning successes this year. We have planned some interactive and fun learning activities to engage both adults and children alike!
Have a great weekend!
